The ever-exuberant Ligeti Quartet brings to life this project exploring the kaleidoscopic idea of memory, in collaboration with composers based in the UK and Colombia. This wide-ranging programme explores themes from the history of Colombia, through the changed cultural landscape of Kazimierz – the old Jewish district of Kraków, to sonifications of the epigenetic memory of trees.
Featuring the world premieres of works by Sara Caneva, Jorge Garcia, Daria Kwiatkowska, Santiago Lozano, Natalia Valencia and Scott Wilson.
