Phoenix Rousiamanis is a composer of instrumental and electronic music, a songwriter and a performer. They are an RNCM composition alumnx and their works have been performed by performers and ensembles such as the Juliet Fraser, Greek National Radio Orchestra, Riot Ensemble and Psappha Ensemble, and have been distributed by NMC Recordings. They are the winner of the RNCM Gold Medal competition, finalist of the RMA’s ‘Tippett Medal’, and where chosen for Brighter Sound’s Trans_formation residency, the first UK residency for trans musicians. They also write and perform with a variety of bands, receiving multiple BBC Radio 6 plays.
Phoenix was a Round 3 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
