Philippo Simone Simonetti-Ruiz is a Brazilian-born neuro-atypical Soul Singer, and an aspiring Wellbeing Coach.
In 2019 at the age of 19, Philippo moved to England to finish his studies in the interface between translation and music (University of Newcastle). He also started the project I SANG HERE in Newcastle, aiming to bring neurodiverse people together and explore the creative force of the city through singing and performance. He developed his own multi-sensorial performances. He began to work with video and started recording small singing works across Northumberland. This project was named “the poetry within”.
Philippo was a Round 3 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
