Manon McCoy (she/her) is an experimental harpist and composer based in the North. Her work is focused on pushing the boundaries of contemporary harp through developing DIY and accessible approaches to live-electronics. Manon is particularly interested in the uses of spaces both musical and physical, designing pieces that rework the performer-audience dynamic. She performs in Sheffield-based duo ‘Balo’ who create site-specific installations for harp drums and electronics. She has recently received commissions by Lancaster Jazz Festival and LivIrishFest.
Manon was a Round 3 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
