Georgie Buchanan is inspired by voice as a means of transforming the way that we connect with ourselves and those around us. She is a singer, harpist, composer and community artist based in Leeds. Georgie has performed on the mainstage of Sidmouth Folk Festival, been selected for Sound and Music’s New Voices Programme and been played on a Nest Collective Broadcast hosted by Sam Lee. Georgie took part in the English Folk Expo’s Artist Mentoring Programme and has performed at Focus Wales and Cambridge Folk Festival 2022. She will be releasing her debut album ‘Wise as a Fool’ in 2023.
Georgie was a Round 2 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
