Today we are excited to announce two new vacancies at Sound and Music and Music Patron.


Part Time (6 months) Digital and Communications Assistant – Sound and Music 

This is an exciting opportunity within Sound and Music’s Audience Engagement Team, providing temporary communications support across our digital platforms, communications channels and public-facing projects, working alongside the Communications and Sales Coordinator and other colleagues including the Audience and Insight Executive and Head of Digital and Audience Engagement.  

The postholder will play a key role in assisting the Communications and Sales Coordinator in the successful delivery of our daily, public-facing, communications to maximise reach, engagement and impact with our varying audience segmentations including Curious Listeners, Young People, Educators and Composers. This will include assisting with creating engaging online copy and designing content for our multiple social media platforms, websites and newsletters, liaising with team members from varying departments to schedule and prioritise organisational announcements and identifying opportunities for advertising.

Digital Engagement Manager – Music Patron

Music Patron is an ambitious new online platform that will connect composers directly with patrons. The Digital Engagement Manager is a new role for Music Patron within Sound and Music. This is an exciting and evolving opportunity for an curious, entrepreneurial and data-driven individual, with excellent communications skills, to set the direction and lead Music Patron’s digital engagement strategy. We’re looking for candidates who are keen to join us on this start-up journey as we take Music Patron from concept  to  reality. Perhaps you have a background in a non-arts field and are keen to bring your skills, experience, innovative approach and creativity into a musical context. Or perhaps you already work in the arts, but want to use your audience-facing, marketing, technological and business skills in a digital start-up context.
