This is call out to invite 4 local minority female identifying/non-binary musicians for 20-30 minute support performances for an EP tour taking place in June 2023. My upcoming EP titled Olive is a musical journey through Black Femininity and its nuances referencing alternative folk, alternative soul, jazz and rock genres part inspired by the life & work of activist Olive Morris.

I am looking for artists that are local/based in the touring areas. I’ve included the dates and locations below.

9th June – Folklore Rooms, Brighton

10th June – The Old Church, Stoke Newington, London

16th June – The Metal, Peterborough

17th June – The Junction, Cambridge

I am particularly looking for artists who resonate with the theme of the work and/or create work that ties together different genres or concepts.

There will be a fee offered of £150 per artist with a travel bursary available if required. I am looking for 1 artist per location.

To apply please send a short email of no more than 500 words with information including which local area you are based in/or are from with links to your music, social links and some information on any previous performances you have done.
