Clod Ensemble is looking for an experienced Learning Project Manager, ideally with a specialism in organising music education projects, to manage the delivery of our education work this spring. The Learning Project Manager will oversee our Ear Opener workshops at secondary schools in London, and support the development of new inset workshops for Music Teachers. They will also manage our new Hackney Rooms project – a creative participation programme for local young people in Hackney.

About Ear Opener:
Ear Opener is a learning programme which supports music creators. We create digital resources, facilitate in-person composition workshops with music students, work with teachers to develop their composition teaching skills, and advocate for the role of music in our lives. Drawing on over 15 years’ experience teaching in secondary schools, Ear Opener harnesses the creativity and ambition of young music makers, providing the tools for them to make the most of their musical ideas.

About Hackney Rooms:
A free, creative participation programme for local young people interested in music and sound. Focusing on the experience of living on the De Beauvoir estate this will run in parallel to the development of our new performance project This is My Room featuring live music and sampled sound. This project offers the opportunity to process the experience of lock down and to celebrate the voices and experiences of the local community.
