sound is a new music incubator based in North East Scotland. We run the annual award-winning soundfestival, support composers through development opportunities, and organising learning and community participation projects. We are embedded in our local community, but are also key players in the new music sector in Scotland, the UK and internationally.
Our current Board members are all engaged locally within the arts and education sectors. They have a wide range of skills and experience between them, particularly in education, community engagement, policy, leadership as well as extensive musical knowledge and experience.
Currently we have an Acting Chair, and would be keen to hear from candidates who might consider taking on the role of Chair.
