Devonstream is an online ‘radio’ station for the county of Devon in south-west England, streaming 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has a rolling, ever-changing playlist of music, speech, field recordings and sonic art that has been created in Devon.

Get involved with our new Youth Music funded project Devonstream Sessions – working with Devon based recording studios to give eight of the county’s up-and-coming acts the opportunity to record a live session (with a £200 grant to support their participation). We plan to broadcast these sessions as part of our new Devonstream Discoveries programme.

Successful Applicants will …

  • Have the chance to record their tracks live in a professional studio setting
  • Take away professionally recorded live versions of their tracks
  • Get their music played and promoted on Devonstream and its social media channels
  • Receive £200 micro-grant from Youth Music to cover costs of attending the session recording and to put towards further career development
  • Network and make new contacts in Devon’s music scene

To be eligible for selection, you must:

  • Have a clear connection to the county of Devon
  • Be between the ages of 18-25
