Devonstream is an online radio station celebrating the audio culture of the county of Devon in south-west England. It offers an open invitation to individuals, groups, clubs, societies and organisations across the county to share content with the county, and with the world. It aims to provide a central place where engaged audio audiences can coalesce and discover new things.

You might be an up-and-coming musician looking for your first airplay; you might be an established artist looking to share archive material. You might be an orchestra; drama group; poet; podcaster or journalist looking for a new outlet. Everyone, at any stage in their creative journey, is welcome to upload content through the Devonstream website.

For content to be considered for inclusion on Devonstream, it must:

  • Be non-commercial
  • Have a clear connection to the county of Devon
  • Follow rules on decency, fairness and impartiality
  • Be of good technical quality

(For detailed explanations of these principles, see Devonstream’s content guidelines.)

Listen to some of the work shared on Devonstream in 2021.

We also welcome conversations about ways the Devonstream platform can be used to add value to your creative endeavours – either by simply providing an additional site for sharing audio, or by becoming woven more intrinsically into new work. For more information email or WhatsApp 07400 920950. Devonstream is also on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Devonstream is supported by Devon County Council and holds appropriate PRS and PPL licenses.
