Composer / Performer ensemble, Current Resonance, seeks works to include on the Iyashikei Slow Waltz VS. Deepfake Gabber concert at our upcoming Current Resonance Festival [November 3-7] in Aarhus, Denmark.

There is no submission fee. Any artist may submit one work and scores can range from standard western classical notation to text-based, audio/visual, and improvisatory. We can accommodate works including acoustic instruments, electronics, performative elements, and/or video. Fixed-media works are also welcome. Submitted works should be no longer than 30 minutes and may feature up to 4 performers whose descriptions are listed here [ https://tinyurl.com/skdwa8up ]

Two works will be chosen [one from each genre, descriptions given below] and the composers will receive a prize of 3.000DKK in addition to their work’s inclusion on the festival.
The works will primarily be judged by relevance to the genres outlined below, as well as production feasibility.
We are implementing a gender quota and ensuring that of the two selected works, one is by a male or non-binary person and the other by a female or non-binary person.

– your name and gender
– files/links to documentation of the
work and/or score
– to which category you are applying

The results will be posted on October 18.
