Opportunity for unique commission

 

Eye Music Trust is calling for commission proposals for our 2021 Colourscape Music Festival taking place this September.

The performance will take place inside our unique performance “venue” – the 95 chamber walk-in Colourscape structure installed on Clapham Common in mid September.

We are open to all kinds of commission ideas – music-theatre, electroacoustics, installation ideas, co-composed, improvisatory, new instruments.  One of the principles of our commission is to encourage experimentation and new ideas. Part of the fund can be for any R&D.

Our only criteria is that we expect applicants to have experienced Colourscape. This is to avoid proposals that are impractical due to the unusual nature of the space.
