The National Youth Choirs of Great Britain (NYCGB) – the UK’s most exciting, innovative and accessible organisation for young choral singers – is seeking a motivated and organised individual to take up the role of Assistant Administrator.

The Assistant Administrator will undertake a range of administrative and operational tasks and flexibly support the day-to-day operations of NYCGB’s activities, providing operational, financial and governance support to the Chief Executive and General Manager. The post-holder will support NYCGB team members, and particularly the Choirs Administrators in delivery of NYCGB activity. The post will contribute to ensuring NYCGB maintains effective systems and processes and support the monitoring and evaluation of NYCGB’s impact.

Our ideal candidate will be practically-minded, detail-oriented, adaptable in picking up new skills and a strong team-player, able to work well- across the organisation. Ideally you’ll have relevant administrative experience to bring to the role, however this role is potentially suitable for someone who is interested in what we do and looking for an entry-level opportunity in a creative organisation or charity.

NYCGB creates and promotes a culture of belonging within the organisation and the wider music sector, where differences are respected and valued, dignity, equality, inclusion and diversity are promoted, and everyone is encouraged and supported to maximise their true potential.

We are champions of inclusivity and welcome applications community wide and from across the UK. We particularly encourage people who are from groups currently underrepresented in our workforce to apply. This includes candidates from Black, Asian and other ethnically diverse backgrounds, or those who identify as D/deaf or disabled.
