On Wednesday 20 March new works for choir, brass quintet and organ will take centre stage at JAM’s season opening concert Music of Our Time. Taking place in the heart of London the concert features an exciting programme of world and London premieres (3 world, 6 London) performed by the Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, Onyx Brass and Simon Hogan (organ), under JAM conductor Michael Bawtree.

Highlights of Music of Our Time include revisiting JAM’s 2010 Commission from Tarik O’Regan (The Night’s Untruth) and the world premiere of a JAM Commission from Isabelle Ryder (Illumination).

The programme also features eight successful submissions to JAM’s 2023 Call for Music by Toh Yan Ee, Steve Richer, Donald Wetherick, Marisse Cato, George W. Parris, Anselm McDonnell, Christopher Churcher and Jonathan Woolgar.
