Theo Gowans is an almost-musician, art maker and gig organiser based in Leeds. He performs experimental noise, sound collage and free improvised music solo as Territorial Gobbing, as part of the noise-rock band Thank and in a plethora of duos, trios and random assortments and has recorded hundreds of albums under all these various guises. He also organises DIY gigs for noise, improvised and unpopular music under the name ‘Heinous Whining’ bringing national and international touring acts to Leeds. He currently is part of Wharf Chambers coop and helped run the now defunct venue CHUNK in Meanwood too
