Maria Uzor looks into the camera scowling while pulling on one of her ears. She is in a room with luminescent purple lighting and wearing a tie-dye purple and pink neon skin.

Merging the spirits of electro, avant-pop, techno and dub, Maria Uzor is an electronic artist, composer, and producer based in Norwich.
A penchant for fusing different genres, her music twists and mutates it’s way through it’s influences, chewing up the sum of it’s parts and spitting out a groove-laden mash-up that nods to both 90s rave culture and Afro-futurism.
Previously one half of post-punk dance duo Sink Ya Teeth, Maria has released two solo EPs over lockdown, and is set to release the third ‘Songs For Luminous Living’ in December 2022.

Maria was a Round 1 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
