Adina Nelu is a Manchester-based film and media composer, producer and vocalist focusing on sonic storytelling and music as metaphor in media. Her fourth feature film has premiered nationwide in Romania this year and has recently become #1 in the Children’s category on Netflix Romania. Her experimental audio project Dear Hometown was commissioned for BBC New Creatives and premiered on BBC Radio 6. She is an awardee of HMUK Do it Differently Fund and was recently granted BAFTA Connect membership. Her latest work is a series of sound-led multimedia installations commissioned by Tyneside Cinema to mark their 85th anniversary.
Adina was a Round 1 recipient of the 2022/3 Francis Chagrin Awards.
