Your donation makes new music possible
We can't do it without your support
Sound and Music is the national charity for new music and we support composers of all ages to make and enjoy new music. Our work is creative, wide-ranging and inclusive.
Make a donation today to play your part in the future of new music
As a charity, we rely on a number of sources to fund the vital work that we do. As budgets tighten and demand for support increases, it’s becoming more important than ever to ensure we can guarantee the long-term future of our work.
Your contribution will provide life-changing composition workshops for young composers, give emerging artists the support they need to flourish, and ensure we can campaign for a more inclusive and equitable new music scene for all.
Your donation will make a real difference. Find out about the impact our work has had on some of the many composers we have supported.

Supporting Our Work

We are fundraising to increase the number of free-of-charge places on our new programme In the Making to support those young people who face the greatest barriers to access our transformational 12 month programme.

Leaving a gift in your will can ensure Sound and Music continues to nurture the creation of new music long into the future. We would be delighted if you decided to support our work with a legacy, and letting us know your intentions can help us plan ahead with confidence.
Find out more about planned giving on this page, or talk to us by email first.

We are incredibly grateful to all the individuals, institutions and grant-makers who support our work each year, whose generosity helps our beneficiaries to create ground-breaking new music.
