Sound and Music is looking for a new Chair of the Board of Trustees in September 2024 when Dr Greg Davies steps down after five years in the role (and five more as a trustee). If this sounds like you or somebody you know, read on below.

We are looking for a Chair who can bring strategic leadership, integrity and skills to lead our engaged and committed Board as the charity embarks on The Trail: Our Strategic Plan 2023-28. We’re seeking candidates passionate about encouraging creativity, cohesion and innovation through supporting composers of all ages to create new music and sound and enabling a wide range of audiences to engage with and be enriched by it.

Infrequently Asked Questions
