Presenting a new opportunity for emerging composers in the North West of England

Sforzando is an event that showcases the very best upcoming classical artists in the North West region, providing the opportunity for composers to have their works performed by either the in house string ensemble or solo piano. Applications are open to have your works performed. Simply send the following to d.marshall25@lipa.ac.uk:

• A score of 1-2 pieces for either String Quartet or Piano (or both!)
• A professional style photo of yourself
• A brief description of you as a composer (inspirations, style, etc.)
• If possible, a link to your released works (Spotify, Soundcloud, Online Store, etc.)

The latter three will be included in a programme on the day of the event.

Sforzando is provisionally scheduled for the beginning of march in Arts Bar Baltic, Liverpool. Further details will be provided upon applying.
