Come and give Aurora Choir a go!
Here at the Aurora Choir, we’re always excited to welcome prospective members who share our love of singing. On Monday the 15th and 22nd of September 2025, we invite anyone interested in trying out the choir to come along to our weekly rehearsals: join in with our singing, meet our friendly team and members, and see what your future Monday evenings could look like as a member of the Aurora Choir!
Attendees are welcome to join for one or both sessions, and all voices and voice parts are welcome at our open rehearsals (soprano, alto, tenor or bass). If you are unsure of your voice part, our friendly music team will be happy to place you on the day. No experience is needed to join the Aurora Choir although, as we are mainly music-reading choir, you may find previous experience with reading musical notation, or an ability to learn repertoire by ear, to be beneficial.
Where do I go?
Both open rehearsals will take place at St Andrew’s Church, Southgate, N14 5PP, and last from 8-10pm.
If possible, please try to arrive prior to the start of the rehearsal to give our music team time to organise newcomers into sections, and answer any queries you may have.
How do I sign up?
If you would like to attend either of our open rehearsals please contact us at info@aurorachoir.co.uk who will be happy to confirm your place and answer any questions you may have. If you haven’t managed to sign up, please do still come along on the day: room capacity permitting, we will be happy to take some basic details on the door, and welcome you into our rehearsal!
