Join us at the beautiful and sacred St Nicholas Church, Leicester, for a live performance featuring Marysia Osu (harpist and producer) and YUIS (flutist), accompanied by Tokyo-based drummer and vibraphonist Masatsugu Hattori and Leicester-based vocalist and flutist Ola Szmidt.

Marysia Osu – Polish-born, London-based harpist, producer, and composer. Her debut album, harp, beats & dreams (Brownswood Recordings), blends classical, jazz, and ambient influences. Active on the London jazz scene, she has performed with Levitation Orchestra and collaborated with Joe Armon-Jones, Puma Blue, Yazmin Lacey, and Loyle Carner.

YUIS – London-based Catalan flutist and producer blending jazz, reggae, and experimental music. Member of Levitation Orchestra, he has collaborated with Eddie Chacon, John Carroll Kirby, Liam Bailey, and Marysia Osu, and contributed to recordings by Joe Armon-Jones and Maxwell Owin.

Masatsugu Hattori – Tokyo-based improvising drummer and vibraphonist active since the 2000s. He has performed with Suga Dairo Trio, Noise Nakamura Quintet, and Folks Cinematic Jazz Ensemble, and collaborated with ECM pianist Kit Downes and Yōsuke Yamashita. His 2021 solo album Pieces explores glitchy electronica, while his live shows focus on acoustic drums and vibraphone.

Ola Szmidt – Polish-born, Leicester-based vocalist, flutist and composer blending folk, jazz, and ambient influences. Her EPs feature live looping and self-produced electronics, with EP3 released on Matthew Herbert’s label, Accidental Records. She has been mentored by Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) and is a recipient of the PRS/Steve Reid Innovation Award. Ola has contributed to U.S. TV dramas such as Goliath and True Detective- Night Country.
