Join international duo Dialogue of Minds as they conjure the sounds and ideas of composers from across countries and styles, with a program mainly consisting of UK premiers! Praised for “great sensitivity”, British-Australian clarinetist Kristina Newton and Swedish pianist Joel Slott visit St Paul’s Knightsbridge as part of their first UK tour.
Bringing to life a diverse range of classical styles and eras, the program consists of several micro-worlds of thought and emotion. Starting from the atmospheric Sonatina from New Zealand composer Douglas Lilburn, the musical journey traverses the groovy rhythms of Muczynski and repertoire staples such as Debussy’s Premiere Rhapsodie. This performance also features the UK premiers of works by the Swedish Sven-David Sandström, New-Zealander Douglas Lilburn and Australian Paul Dean. With a whole world of music brought straight to you in London, this performance is not one to miss. The concert takes place at the beautiful St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, Belgravia.
