Where ancient singing traditions and electronic music meet, çhâñt élečtrónïqùe is an international collective of traditional singers, electronic musicians and producers. The seven artists from France, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina formed in 2019 with the idea of exploring musical traditions from their home countries and electronic compositions. Creating intriguingly hypnotic music that feels at once familiar and at the same time delightfully and comfortingly otherworldly, the group released their debut album, “çhâñt élečtrónïqùe vol. 1” on London-based independent label Rika Muzika, to great acclaim in 2020. They are currently in the process of recording a hotly anticipated second album due to be released later this year.
