Zhao Jiajing is an electroacoustic composer and sound artist. His practice spans sound, installation, and new media, exploring questions of time, technological mediation, and our shifting relationship with both the digital and natural worlds. Since 2019, he has focused on spatial sound, with works shown at Ars Electronica, IRCAM, ZKM, Barbican Centre, ICMC, NYCEMF, and more. He holds an MA from the Royal College of Art and is pursuing a PhD at University of the Arts London (CRiSAP).
Zhao Jiajing was shortlisted for selection to represent the ISCM British Section at the World New Music Days Festival 2026 in Romania.
