Toni Oisin H.C. is a sonic artist and sound designer with a background in psychology. His work intends to bridge the gap between behavioural science, biology, and sound art to develop immersive experiences and installations. Themes they frequently explore in their work include suburban horror through a Traveller lens, disabled and chronically ill experiences, notions of camp, and methods for queering practice. He works largely in spatial audio, using field recordings, archival footage, computer music, and synthesis. Their current work is based on creating psychophysiologically informed interactive audio experiences for non-linear and linear media.
In November 2024, Toni was a recipient of the Essentials Fund.
