Steph Walker is a pianist, composer and sound designer from Manchester.
Steph has been composing and performing original music for over 20 years. She has composed for films and theatre shows that have toured nationally and internationally; as well as creating and producing music and sound for performance, theatre, film and animation. Steph has been shortlisted for several sound awards, including Best Composer and Best Sound Designer.
Steph has a prolific career of collaborating; touring extensively throughout the UK and Europe in bands she has founded/co-founded and supporting artists such as The White Stripes, Slow Readers Club and Bloc Party.
In January 2021 Steph received one of Sound and Music’s COVID-19 Composer Awards:
