Raivo Sloan is a Glasgow-based music producer and multi-instrumentalist who composes through improvisation, often sonically writing and recording simultaneously.
Raivo’s reflections on In Motion:
“Artistically, I’m now creating work with live performance in mind and I’m able to test new work in live settings immediately instead of keeping it in the works for a long time. I’ve been able to do a lot of things for the first time, thanks to the supportive environment created by Sound and Music.
Having check-ins with my Sound and Music Project Leader has been invaluable, giving me the time and space to speak to someone who’s there to support me specifically in my creative work.
New projects now seem more grasp-able and achievable after getting in the habit of breaking things down with my Project Leader. It’s given me a sense of direction and encouragement after doing this stuff alone for years.”
