I’m an Autistic composer and sound designer working with music technology, improvisation and amateurism. I make soundtracks for films, podcasts, games and everyday life under my own name and I release songs and other music projects under the name ‘Mouthless’. Everything I do is DIY and often lo-fi. I try to maintain a Beginner’s Mind at all times. I enjoy working with mistakes and exploring the boundaries between the psychedelic and the mundane.
In April 2022 Louis received one of Sound and Music’s Covid-19 Composer Awards:
“I’m so pleased to have been selected for this award. The grant will enable me to learn new skills in the field of electronics, with an eye towards future-proofing my equipment and further exploring experimental instrument design.”
