What are you working on at the moment?
I’m currently working on a chamber opera, The Blue Woman, commissioned by the Royal Opera House and Britten Pears with librettist, Laura Lomas. The opera explores the fracturing of the female psyche post sexual violence and will be directed by Katie Mitchell.
What are you looking forward to most about Music Patron?
Being able to communicate directly with people who might be interested in what I’m interested in creatively. The opportunity to have a meaningful dialogue with audience members is often quite rare, so this platform presents a wonderful opportunity to have those dialogues whilst an idea is taking shape, during its development and when it comes to fruition.
