JAMIE MAN/文珮玲 (London, 1987) uses the forms of opera, live performance and dark room installations to create works primarily concerned with music and the poetic mystery of what we are.

Moulding physiological phenomena such as auditory illusions, visual after-images created with light sculptures and infrasound, commissioners have included London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Asko|Schönberg Ensemble (Amsterdam), Gulbenkian Music Foundation (Lisbon), Holland Festival (Amsterdam), LOD Muziektheater/ de Singel (Antwerp), Théatre du Châtelet (Paris) and Spatial Sound Institute/ 4DSOUND (Budapest).

As a conductor, Jamie works internationally giving premieres of her own work and those of other living composers.

Jamie was shortlisted for selection to represent the ISCM British Section at the World New Music Days Festival 2025 in Portugal.
