Turkish composer, pianist, and historical keyboard performer İlayda Deniz Oğuz (b. 2000) works at the intersection of composition, performance, and improvisation. Her practice explores a wide stylistic range, often blurring the boundaries between written music and spontaneous creation. Her works have been performed by Cikada Ensemble, members of the Oslo Sinfonietta, Trio X, Ergon Ensemble, and the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra, and featured at the Lucerne Festival. She is a recipient of the RCM Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal and currently holds the Historical Keyboards Fellowship at the Royal College of Music, London.
