Born in Chiba/Japan, Chihiro Ono is a London based Japanese violinist, also plays viola. Specialising in Music, such as baroque, classical, contemporary, new, experimental music, and folkloric, noise, improvisation, field recording and art of sounds.
She has been performing on stage and media internationally as a chamber musician working with different varieties of esteemed ensembles and composers.
Since 2018, alongside of performance activities as a violinist and violist, Chihiro intensified her appearance as a sound artist through new creations for live performance, theatre, radio and film, working as a soloist, also collaborating with like-minded artists and groups.
