Coco Mbassi is a French Cameroonian singer-songwriter whose music blends African roots with jazz, soul, pop, baroque and classical influences. Winner of the Radio France Internationale Découvertes Award in 1996 and the German World Music CD Critics Award in 2001, she was also a finalist for the BBC World Music Awards in 2002. She has toured internationally for two decades across Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. Her discography includes several albums, a live DVD, singles and EPs. After a 10-year hiatus, her new album, Ewekedi Part I, will be released on 15 December 2025.
