Damsel Elysium is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, experimental sound, visual & performance artist based in London. Having previously been hailed by Vogue as “London’s most stylish experimental sound artist” and having featured in the recent FKA Twigs Tiny Desk session, Damsel is an emerging avant garde artist not to be ignored.

Damsel utilises double bass, violin, piano and original field recordings to explore alternative communication and connections with physical spaces and nature. Their aim is to establish an expressive world that speech or writing could never transmute, performing audio-visual stories in unorthodox spaces as well as established venues such as Southbank Centre, Tate Modern, V&A Museum, National Portrait Gallery, and Union Chapel.

They have collaborated with FKA Twigs, Celeste, CKTRL, Matt Maltese, and the London Contemporary Orchestra and have been commissioned for Simone Rocha, IITTALA, Vogue x Gucci and Byredo.
