Sonia Allori is a Scottish/Italian composer, performer, researcher and music therapist based in the Scottish Highlands. She is a multi-instrumentalist and singer, has a PhD in composition, and her practice explores the combination of words and music, often through the lens of inclusion and humour at the everyday absurdities of life.
Sonia has been commissioned by Drake Music Scotland, Sound Festival and Illuminate Women’s Music. She performs and composes with Sonic Bothy, an inclusive experimental music ensemble based in Glasgow and is a researcher/practitioner at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
