Arthur Keegan is a composer often inspired by text, from poetry and literature to Twitter feeds and graffiti. You’ll find him working happily on instrumental, vocal and (occasionally) electronic music. He especially enjoys close collaboration with performers, which is at the heart of his process.
“Drawn from albums I’m listening to at the moment that serve as inspiration for two pieces I am currently writing. I’ve been thinking a lot about music rooted in, and responding to specific locations, as well and birdsong and musical evocations of sculpture.”
