Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMAs) is inviting applications from artists to perform as part of the Sound City+ programme at Sound City 2026. The showcase will take place at The Jacaranda in Liverpool on Friday 1 May 2026.

The opportunity is aimed at artists ready to take the next step in their live careers and connect with industry audiences at one of the UK’s key music showcase festivals.

Selected artists will receive a paid performance slot and support as part of the Sound City+ programme.

What Artists Receive

• £500 artist fee
• 25-minute live set
• Sound City+ and festival passes
• Live event photography
• Marketing and PR support
• Invitation to the SAMA pre-event info session in April 2026
