Exciting opportunity to remix the music of Vulva Voce and have your track released alongside their debut EP, ‘Maddalena’, with £500 commission fee.
Vulva Voce’s debut EP, ‘Maddalena’, is a celebration of women making music past and present. It combines two 1500 madrigals written by Maddalena Casulana (the first woman to have a book of music published) with two contemporary companion pieces, written by Vulva Voce.

The two madrigals, ‘Ah, Power of Love!’ and ‘Death, What do You Want?’ are originally written for voice and have never before been recorded for string quartet. In contrast, the two new pieces, ‘Hysteria’ and ‘Luteal’ combine techno grooves, pop, jazz and Renaissance madrigal, merging together to create a fresh and energetic fusion.
Vulva Voce invites you to remix any of the tracks from this EP in any style you choose, but must be delivered in digital format ready for release.
