Orchestras Live is seeking to appoint 3 Community Impact Coordinators (1 based in the East, 1 in the Midlands and 1 in the North) who have a passion for community engagement and believe in the value of cultural and creative opportunities for people where they live and work.

These are full-time posts for a fixed term of three years. Salary £25,000 per annum.

Deadline for applications: Tuesday 9 May at 5pm

We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, organised and efficient, good communicators, believing in and committed to maximising the value of cultural engagement for people where they live and work.

You don’t need to have a background of working in the orchestral or performing arts sector to undertake these roles – we’re more interested in your ability to build relationships and trust with a wide variety of people, and your project management and organisational skills. We’re excited by people who bring different work and life experiences, perspectives and ways of doing things to the organisation.

Working closely with a Senior Creative/Regional Producer (depending on location), you will play an important part in delivering our strategy for the region. You will be a local advocate and intermediary, using proven models to engage communities in shaping orchestral experiences that relate to their interests and needs. You will help to build long-term programmes that deepen impact in areas where Orchestras Live has existing partnerships, and develop new partnerships in specified areas of the region that have experienced historical under-investment.

These are new roles, created by Orchestras Live to support the delivery of our new business plan. You’ll be joining a growing team of 14 employees, based across England.

Orchestras Live is an Equal Opportunities and a Living Wage employer. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, age groups and cultures. We are keen to hear from Black, Asian, and ethnically diverse, D/deaf and disabled candidates as they are currently under-represented in our staff team.
