All are welcome to join us in amplifying voices and celebrating creative resistance with ‘The Sound of Us, Vol. 2’

Join us to celebrate the launch of our 2nd compilation, curated from open call submissions by female, trans and non-binary artists and their collaborators.

The compilation features over 20 artists from multiple countries, creating a powerful celebration of diverse voices, genres, and cultures. The project takes inspiration from the concept of female empowerment, sacred rituals and music as medicine that connects humans to the earth and each other for centuries. As we approach the start of spring, these themes of earth frequencies, medicine music, and the fertility of creative ideas take center stage. The release is a sonic act of resistance, blending ritualistic soundscapes and ancient chants with modern musical expressions to empower, ground, and rise against suppression.

The Sound of Us, Vol. 2 arrives on May Eve (April 30th), the predecessor of the pagan festival Beltane. This sacred night has long been celebrated under various names, including ‘The Devil’s Birthday,’ ‘The Old One’s Birthday,’ ‘Walpurgis Night,’ ‘Goethe’s Faust,’ ‘Witches Revels,’ ‘Witches Abroad,’ and ‘Hexennacht.’ The night marks the crossing between worlds, where spiritual forces gather in celebration of the earth’s power and fertility.

The compilation taps into this energy, the idea of bringing female empowerment together, drawing inspiration from these long-held traditions of transformation, healing, and collective awakening.

For Club Together Club, this is more than just a release—it’s an ongoing mission to support and amplify marginalised voices. They have spent the last two years building a platform dedicated to the visibility of underrepresented genders and identities in the music industry. Through monthly radio shows, collaborative projects, and now, this second compilation, they continue to create spaces where these voices can be heard.

The listening party will run the digital collection from start to finish. Anyone can join once the event is live, with or without a bandcamp login. However if you are logged into bandcamp you can also comment and use the chat function. We will also be active on our instagram during the event for people who prefer to chat/comment there.
