Aurora Sounds is a group for anyone who is passionate about music and sound art. The group will get together and focus on listening to a complete album in a beautiful, peaceful environment followed by a discussion about the music or sound art piece. You will be asked to put your mobiles on silent and not talk during the album for a distraction free listening experience. At the start of the session there will be a short walking meditation to relax and prepare for the listening experience. This time we will be listening to Four Tet’s Sixteen Ocean’s album. We will listen to the album individually on headphones. You can bring whatever listening device you like, whether it be on portable CD player, portable cassette player or on your phone! Please bring your headphones and your splitters!
Date and venue: Saturday 29 November at 11am, meeting point: on the grass, by the lake, opposite the Mile end art pavilion. E3 4QY. Bring warm layers. No dogs! – they are a distraction and will bark!
Look out for the lady with the red flower in her hair!
