Harry Burgess is a musician, writer, and educator based in London. He is best known as the lead vocalist of avant-pop band Adult Jazz, whose two albums, Gist Is and So Sorry So Slow, arrived to critical acclaim a decade apart—the latter marked by a sold-out show at London’s ICA.

His wider practice includes Fall Of Troy, a performance combining essay, movement, and sculpture; collaborations with sonic artist Alex De Little at the RA and Goldsmiths CCA; and the experimental duo Offer. His writing appears in Pilot Press’ Queer Poets series, and his collection Toffee Hammer was published in 2018.
