Soundling Festival for International Women's Day, London, 8 - 11 March 2018.

On Saturday 10 March, 7pm at Hundred Years Gallery in Hoxton, female-identifying and non-binary artists of all backgrounds, disciplines and career-stage are invited to the Soundling Social for an open free improvisation session in collaboration with Mopomoso, open-forum discussion about equality in the industry and how to influence change, and an open-call for pieces for turntable - to be performed & recorded on the evening by Soundling curator and turntablist Megan Steinberg.

Any style or approach to the instrument is welcome, Soundling particularly encourages students and early-stage composers and artists to come along to experiment with the instrument and create a piece.

All experience levels welcome for any part of the workshop. Bring your own instruments/sound-making objects (plus amplification if needed). Some instruments will be available for those who are unable to bring one.

No application forms, no CVs, just turn up!
