DIY 12: 2015 Call for Proposals
As part of the Live Art Development Agency's annual DIY programme Sound and Music want to support a project which will focus on questions of sound, music, or listening in relation to Live Art.
Summer School 2015
The Sound and Music Summer School is a life-changing opportunity for anyone aged 14-18 and into creating music. Applications for the 2015 Summer School are now open with a deadline of noon Thursday 2nd April 2015.
Hideous Porta is a concert series conceived to fill the gap of a regular London monthly programme promoting new music. It emphasises carefully curated events focusing on the presentation of electronic and acoustic experiments.
Sound and Music have a new development plan in place for the British Music Collection designed to open up the archive to become a 21st century tool for artists and audiences to discover the story of British contemporary music.
SOUNDkitchen commissions two artists that have not previously worked together to devise a collaborative performance with the aim to provide artists with an opportunity to experiment, test new ideas and take a few artistic risks.
On Thursday 27 November, hcmf// will showcase the works of the 12 Next Wave composers. This will be presented alongside key discussions about recording and distributing your work, part of Sounding Out.
