2.2 Trademarking

For your ancillary content - likeness, image, brand - you could consider trademarking to protect yourself from any misuse of likeness and brand. This is not often taken out by composers - as misuse of musical content in copyrighted compositions is protected by law - but if you’re touring under a specific name or promoting a brand and associated content, an EU trademark is the necessary way to protect oneself. They cost €900 and can be purchased here:  https://oami.europa.eu/ohimportal/en/
