Composer-in-Residence: Sally Golding and Sarah Hughes
Sally Golding is an Australian-British multimedia artist combining film projection, lighting and sonic composition to create expanded cinema performances and participatory installations. Golding’s audiovisual performance work focuses on the experience of the audience, pushing the boundaries of visual and auditory perception.
Artist, composer and performer Sarah Hughes produces work that explores the boundaries of interdisciplinary practice, often moving between sculpture, installation, composition and music. Hughes is the co-founder of Compost and Height, a curatorial platform that focuses on new music and composition.
Embedded is a Sound and Music composer and creative-artist development programme. Funded by The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the PRS for Music Foundation, Embedded places a selection of composers from a range of disciplines into extended relationships with leading national arts organisations.
