For over 15 years, we have worked with thousands of music creators and hundreds of organisations to boost musical creativity, careers, cultures, and communities across the UK.
Reducing barriers and championing inclusion underpins everything we do driven by our sector leading Fair Access Principles. We are proud of our record progressing equity and representation within new music in the UK.
Sound and Music is supported by Arts Council England and proud to be a National Youth Music Organisation.
In Motion is our annual artist development programme for adult composers. In Motion is artist-led, celebrates the curious and intrepid, and supports anyone working with music and sound in the UK.
In the Making is the UK's only year-long artist development programme for talented young music creators and composers aged 14–18. It supports those passionate about composing in any form and is open to all.
The Essentials Fund is a new grant scheme open to any composers, music creators or artists working creatively with music and sound, to purchase essentials for their practice.  We will be running a number of rounds every year.
The British Music Collection is an exciting and diverse online space for UK-based music creators and composers to create profiles representing themselves and their works. Join a constantly expanding archive of the most important names in UK composition, and take advantage of the unique opportunities a profile provides.
Minute of Listening is our unique music education platform with collections of 60 second pieces of music and sound. Exploring the collection and reflecting on what they hear and feel activates young people’s creative listening and musical discovery skills, while providing a creative means of making sense of the world around them.

The Sampler Mixtape is our weekly radio show showcasing exciting new music. Tune in on Resonance FM (104.4FM) every Friday at 12pm and Wednesday at 3am, or on demand via Mixcloud.
